What is this spray?
This compounded topical spray contains three active ingredients: Minoxidil 10%, Finasteride 0.1%, and Azelaic Acid 5%. It is an unlicensed formulation off-label by our team. It represents one of the most comprehensive topical approaches to male pattern hair loss available, particularly suited to men at the earlier stages of hair thinning who want maximum topical coverage.
How does it work?
Minoxidil 10% widens blood vessels in the scalp, increasing oxygen and nutrient supply to hair follicles and prolonging the anagen (growth) phase. Finasteride 0.1% inhibits 5-alpha reductase locally, reducing scalp DHT levels with minimal systemic absorption. Azelaic Acid 5% also inhibits 5-alpha reductase and has anti-inflammatory properties, further supporting scalp health. Together, these three ingredients address hair loss from multiple angles: improved follicle nutrition, DHT suppression, and scalp health.
How to use it
Apply 1ml once daily to clean, dry scalp in affected areas. Part hair to expose thinning areas, spray directly onto scalp, spread gently if required, and wash hands thoroughly after use. Allow to dry fully before styling. Do not wash hair for 4 hours after application.
How long does it take to work?
Initial shedding may occur in the first 4–8 weeks. Stabilisation is typically seen at 3–4 months. Visible improvement usually appears at 4–6 months, with maximum benefit at 9–12 months of daily use. Continued use is required to maintain results.
